Monologue: "I spend all my money on films, books and music, I don't spend it all on booze. I'm a rebel. "

Maybe have him watching something (characters often watch films based on their lifestory in teen films) 

The fact that he reads books as well and doesn't just watch and listen to stuff also goes against the offensive stereotype that working class are stupid, with books having connotations of intellectuality, but not too many books to make him too intellectual like a writer 😉

SCENE WITH ARTIST:

When Artist is drawing, to emphasize how she is happy in her world, and also the upbeat atmosphere of the rom-com, use music from Emily's first scene getting up in Skins 3x01

Has painted the jock out of infatuation, final shot of scene of the painting or sketch

phases into jock, maybe through animation as well

SCENE WITH JOCK:

maybe driving car (ask Will if he has car), good mood and 

Working out (like Tony in Skins, and Joe from 10 Things was also very sporty), or maybe doing some sport like boxing or basketball, show his physicalness, walking confident

(maybe final throw of ball, transports us to scene where Outsider's phone falls on the floor)

AT SCHOOL:

Artist meets with friend, or maybe not, but is telling herself that she needs to pluck up courage, nervousness)
